How Vozonix Came to Be
It started with a dog named Biscuit — a two-year-old Labrador who inhaled every meal in under 60 seconds, then spent the next hour lying on his side, visibly uncomfortable. His owner had tried everything: hand feeding, spreading food on a baking sheet, even putting a tennis ball in the bowl.
When the vet mentioned Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV) — a condition where the stomach fills with gas and twists, requiring emergency surgery — the search for a real solution became urgent.
"Every bowl on the market was either ugly, too hard to clean, or didn't actually slow down a determined Lab. So we decided to build the one we wished existed."
After months of prototyping, testing with real dogs of different breeds and sizes, and working with veterinary consultants, the Vozonix Slow Feeder was born. Three difficulty zones. Eight channels. A design that works with your dog's natural foraging instinct — not against it.
